Meet the team behind The FD Service.
The FD Service was founded by Tom Barrett, FCCA in 2018.
Tom was the former CFO of Hampshire investment company Just Develop It Limited and previous to that worked under the Group Financial Director at Five Arrows Leasing Limited, a part of the Rothschild & Co group. An industry career spanning 15 years.
Meet Tom
An FD with an industry career spanning 15 years.
During his tenure at Just Develop It, Tom was instrumental in a number of fast growth SaaS tech businesses, including web hosting, VPN, cloud storage, website builders and antivirus products. These ventures were start-ups or joint ventures which lead to eventual multi million dollar exits to private equity or listed plc’s.
Due to the success of these tech ventures Tom was also involved in the growth of the group portfolio across hospitality, leisure, private aviation, finance, property, construction and retail industries. All of which gives him the breadth of knowledge to deal with a multitude of clients today.

“Reached £55m debtor book balance with Onyx Money Limited.”
“Raised £45m mortgage with Barclays Bank to accelerate growth within JDI Property Holdings Limited.”
“JDI Property Holdings Limited reached 300 Properties with £80m in value.”
